June 2 thru August 25, 2009: Music on the Lawn. Join us every Tuesday night for a different musical performance. The music begins at 7:00pm.

June 30, 2009: Music on the Lawn, 7:00pm at the Museum. Bascom McGhee will play folk and bluegrass music.

July 4, 2009: Fourth of July. We will participate with a float in the Ada parade, a tent at the festival on the Green, and the Museum will be open for tours.

July 7, 2009: Music on the Lawn featuring Chris Vallillo, folk singer.

July 11, 2009: Monthly meeting scheduled for 10:30am at the Museum.

July 14, 2009: Music on the Lawn featuring Lonesone Jane, country/folk rock/swing music.

July 21, 2009: Music on the Lawn featuring Adams Family, folk and mintresl music.

July 28, 2009: Music on the Lawn featuring Tiki O'Riley, Celtic music.

July 29-30, 2009: Pioneer Days at the Museum. We will partner with the Ada Parks Dept. when summer campers visit the Museum and barn to explore Ada's history.

July 2009: Garden & Herbs. In July, we will host an event highlighting gardening and herbs. Look for the date and details on our website or call the Museum at 676-9346.

August 4, 2009: Music on the Lawn featuring Voices of Freedom, patriotic acapella music.

August 7, 2009: August in Ada. We will participate in the annual children's celebration with a tent on the Green.

August 8, 2009: Monthly meeting scheduled for 10:30am at the Museum.

August 9, 2009: Robinson Family Reunion. We will present the Museum's new display case for the Robinson Family Bible to the family during the reunion.

August 11, 2009: Music on the Lawn featuring Apple Ridge Dulcimer music.

August 14, 2009: Music on the Lawn featuring Nowhere Band playing Beatles music.

August 18, 2009: Music on the Lawn featuring Java Jive, 30s and 40s dance standards.

August 25, 2009: Music on the Lawn featuring Ransom Street Band playing swing music.

August 28-September 30, 2009: Barn Sale Fundraiser. We welcome you to come support the Ada Historical Society by both contributing your items to our fundraiser and stopping by to find a treasure of your own! Please drop off donations at the Museum from August 1-August 23 during regular Museum hours or by appointment, call 676-9346. No clothing, please.

September 20, 2009: Covered Bridges Lecture. At 3:00pm at the Ada Covered Bridge, Nancy Smith will speak about Covered Bridges.

October 1, 2009: The Rivers Lecture. At 7:00pm at the Ada Township Assembly Hall, Rob Yob, a member of the Grand River Bands of Ottawa Indians will lecture on The Rivers to kick off Ada's Riverfest Festival.
