Taylor Historical Society
The Taylor Historical Society preserves, restores, collects, and displays historic sites and personal property relating to the City of Taylor, its people, government and organization. The society maintains an 1882 schoolhouse fully equipped with historic teaching tools and McGuffey Readers, a 1850s Log Cabin with early family histories, a 1920s house, a Train Station in Heritage Park, and the historic West Mound Church.
The society’s collections include farm tools, historical records, published maps, site information and handouts.
